Perform related clerical tasks.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:xc2xa0 Prepare for and complete hearing screenings throughout the District. Perform hearing screenings at all initial schedule screening days. [Daily, 75%] Process student files and perform various clerical duties including answering telephones, directing inquiries, data entry, inventory of screening audiometers, ordering office supplies, and maintaining mileage records. Following training andxc2xa0asxc2xa0delegated by a registered school nurse, accurately followxc2xa0student medication delivery orders. [Daily, 10%] Assists in the delivery and pick up of portable audiometers and frequency-modulated equipment. [Weekly, 10%] Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. [Daily, 5%]xc2xa0MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:xc2xa0 High school diploma or equivalent. Six (6) months of audiology or hearing health-related experience. Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as telephones, copiers, computers, fax machines, email, etc. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of audiology screening equipment. Intermediate English language skills. Intermediate oral and written communication skills. Advanced interpersonal relations skills. Advanced organizational skills. Ability to work alone and with others. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA. Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with students.xc2xa0REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:All certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired. Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire. Medication administration training provided by the District as needed.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:xc2xa0 Associate’s degree. Experience working in a school district or educational setting. Experience working with school age children. Experience working in a health field. Working knowledge of medical terminology.xc2xa0PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:xc2xa0 Moderate physical effort (lifting up to 25 pounds). Frequent bending, reaching, and climbing.
