These paraprofessionals assist audiologists as they treat patients. Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in audiology environment. American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification as Audiology Technician. EPIC and Kronos experience. Bilingual, Spanish-speaking. MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word. Conditions of Employment: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross healthcare provider-level CPR certification. Maintains all required licensure and certifications for the position. Must be able to work in person. Must be able to travel to alternate locations as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organizational and personal skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented to create patient charts, file paperwork, and stay on schedule. Effectively communicate observations to supervising audiologists and patients. At times may explain procedures and medical conditions to patients.
